The Faith Lutheran Church in Cambridge was scorched by a fire on Easter Sunday, April 9 that is now being investigated as arson, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
The blaze broke out at approximately 5:30 p.m., rendering the 130-year-old building unusable. It was not extinguished until approximately 4:00 a.m. the following morning.

Church services have been temporarily moved to Pentecostal Tabernacle, according to the Faith Lutheran Church's website.
The act of arson is under investigation by the following organizations:
- FBI Boston Division
- Cambridge Police Department
- Cambridge Fire Department
- Massachusetts State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit
- Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
Officials requested the public's assistance, asking anyone with photos or videos of the scene, including the day before and the day of, the fire submit them to fbi.gov/cambridgechurchfire
